QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Who sells spares for future maintenance, and do they have to be MOTed and servicing too.
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
We can provide you with spare parts in the future (they are not listed on our website, however, we can contact the manufacturer directly and get you the spare part you need.)
The manufacturer also provides servicing, you would need to report the problem to us, and in turn, we will notify the manufacturer. They will send a specialist to repair the problem. Please see their statement below:
''We have a separate department for technical assistance and door-to-door service in UK, but the clinet needs to meet warranty terms(periodic inspection of the vehicle, etc.). ''
You do not need a licence to drive a mobility scooter or powered wheelchair, but you may have to register it. Only certain types can be driven on the road.
Mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs come in 2 categories:
- class 2: these cannot be used on the road (except where there is not a pavement) and have a maximum speed of 4mph
- class 3: these can be used on the road and have a maximum speed of 4mph off the road and 8mph on the road
You do not need to register a class 2 mobility scooter.
You must register class 3 mobility scooters.
You must be 14 or over to drive a class 3 mobility scooter.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Martin
