The CDP-S150 is one of the lightest and most compact digital pianos available weighing only 10.5kg, this makes it suitable for smaller living spaces or music on the go. The stylish and sturdy CS-46 stand is also included and places the CDP-S150 at the optimum playing height for good posture whilst at the piano.
A Precise Touch
More than 80% of piano teachers surveyed by Casio said that a digital piano’s touch is the most important aspect of its design. With this in mind, the CDP-S150 has a brand new Scaled Hammer Action II key mechanism (with simulated ebony and ivory textured keys) that provides the authentic weighting of an acoustic piano. This means that the technique you develop at home will be suitable for other pianos.
USB Connection
With the USB port the piano can be connected to any compatible computer or iPad for external recording via MIDI. It also has a 3.5mm socket to plug in headphones for private practice (headphones not included). A sustain pedal is included in the box, and you can also plug-in the optional SP-34 pedal unit which provides the same three-pedal functionality as a traditional grand piano.

My son just started learning. Had a few lessons and made excellent progress.
Advised to go for a foamy to start as he was learning well. Plus ifhe changed his mind we weren't £500 to £600 out on a hard board. Teens being teens can change their minds.

Really pleased with the final outcome, but the journey wasn’t all plain sailing… Two of the vertical struts were different to the ones in the instructions, but worked in the same position so no harm there. Just an extra 20 minutes working out what was different. I put it together on my own, but would recommend two to make life easier. There are lots of small parts (screws etc) so make sure you don’t loose any (although there are a few extra of some parts). Some of the wall panels fit together better than others, but there’s a little tolerance built in to allow for this. Take extra care fitting the doors if you want them level and opening smoothly. A couple of door hooks or door restrainers would help stop them blowing about in the wind (they’re quite light). Also a bolt on the non locking door would help keep it in place if you only need to access the shed via a single door. I’ve retro fitted my own so it works as I want.
